Ken Barina to Retire After 38 Years with the Company

HOUSTON (March 27, 2025) – Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and providers of material handling, automation and fleet solutions, today announced the appointment of Berry Mansfield as its new president, effective April 1, 2025.

Ken Barina, who has led the company for the past 12 years and has been with Logisnext for over 38 years, will retire from full-time duties on March 31, 2025. Barina will transition to a part-time role as Chairman, where he will continue to provide strategic guidance.

Previously, Mansfield was executive vice president and CFO for Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas in Houston, overseeing finance, human resources, information technology, and legal divisions. He has been with Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas for over 28 years, contributing to various leadership roles, including 10 years in product marketing and regional sales management. He also worked for UniCarriers Americas (UCA) in Marengo before the organizational integration of Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Americas Inc. (MCFA) and UCA.

Barina has been a driving force in the material handling industry for nearly four decades. His career began at Caterpillar in 1986, where he held key roles in marketing, product development, and field sales before joining MCFA in 1992. After rising through the ranks, he was named President in 2013, leading the company through transformational growth and industry advancements.
