Our 57-Year Journey Continues to Grow!
We are excited to announce the grand opening of WireCrafters’ newly expanded facility. With more than 67,000 square feet of additional warehouse, manufacturing, and office space—bringing us to a total of 315,000 square feet across three buildings—this milestone reflects our continued commitment to growth and excellence. The expansion includes 13 state-of-the-art dock doors, enhancing our shipping operations and positioning us to meet increasing customer demand.
Prior to moving into the new building, we made several improvements to the facility, including cleaning walls and ceilings, resurfacing floors, upgrading lighting and fans, a new roof, renovating office spaces, and upgrading IT infrastructure. This extensive renovation ensures our team has the tools and space to deliver superior service and products.
In celebrating the expansion, Executive Vice President Rich Horn remarked: “This move allowed us to transfer all warehousing and shipping operations to 6210R, facilitating needed growth in welding and space for an additional powder coating system. We are also streamlining operations of ‘large tubing,’ which has historically been a cumbersome process. The 6210R project has given WireCrafters the additional capacity needed for our current demand and anticipated aggressive growth over the next five years. I am very proud of the organization for working diligently to accomplish our goals. All, but especially the Shipping, Maintenance, and IT teams, did a tremendous amount of hard work and overtime to make this happen. Well done to everyone!”
The grand opening was celebrated in true WireCrafters fashion, with employees and the company coming together to mark this exciting milestone. Every team member received a unique grand opening shirt that proudly said, “Our 57-Year Journey Continues to Grow.” Please and Thank You provided an array of refreshments, including coffee, tea, cookies, brownies, and rice crispy treats, adding a sweet touch to the festivities.
Owner Steve Diebold addressed the employees and the company’s Board of Advisors, sharing heartfelt remarks about the significance of the building’s growth and what it meant to him personally.
“WireCrafters’ expansion into this building is a result of, and a tribute to, all the team members, both past and present, who have worked here. Your great work, attention to detail, and dedication to doing the job right make WireCrafters customers come back time and time again. Your effort makes WireCrafters the valued supplier it is today.”
Diebold continued, “Those efforts have caused WireCrafters to grow, and because of that growth, we could not effectively serve our customers out of the 6208 building, a facility I thought we would never outgrow.”
“Every day we come in here, we do our jobs, we work as a team. Everyone has a job, and we expect everyone to do their best. When that happens, we get more work, hire more people, and now add a building with more space. All while our competitors try to knock us down and copy our ideas and products. But we continue to win; why? Because they don’t have the secret, the secret—which is you, the WireCrafters team. I am proud to be part of that team.”
Following the remarks, the entire WireCrafters team gathered for a group photo to capture the moment and the continued growth of our company’s employees. The celebration concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially mark the company’s third expansion, symbolizing the continued success and bright future of WireCrafters.
This expansion is a testament to our team’s dedication and commitment to innovation and excellence. We look forward to this new facility’s opportunities as we continue to lead the industry in wire partition solutions.
