Conveyors & Drives First-Ever Oktoberfest
Atlanta, GA – October 21, 2024 – Conveyors & Drives (C&D) is excited to announce the success of its 2024 Oktoberfest Open Haus & Material Handling Expo, held on October 18th at our Atlanta facility. Over 150 attendees, including industry professionals and customers, gathered to explore the latest material handling innovations while enjoying an Oktoberfest-themed event.
The event featured 22 vendors showcasing cutting-edge products and technologies in automation, conveyor systems, and material handling. Attendees had the opportunity to see these innovations up close and discuss how they can enhance their operations.
“This year’s Open Haus was a great success thanks to our vendors and the engagement of all who attended,” said Jon Smalling, Director of Sales at Conveyors & Drives. “It was a perfect opportunity to demonstrate new technology and strengthen relationships within our industry. Attendees also shared their enjoyment of the event as Trey Gothard of Auto Sol Inc. called the event a “Mini-Modex” and said the event was a “great setting to network and stay educated on up-and-coming technologies.”
Hytrol Conveyors (Jonesboro, AR) impressed the crowd with their latest product, EZLogic® NET (EZN), a smart conveyor system that offers advanced capabilities and ease of use. SpanTech (Glasgow, KY) wowed attendees with their 650 sq. ft. display, demonstrating solutions for changing conveyor elevations while maintaining product integrity.
Along with the product displays, guests enjoyed German food, beer, a live polka band, and exciting prize giveaways, making the event both informative and fun. Conveyors & Drives is already planning next year’s Open Haus and is committed to showcasing more innovations while building strong partnerships with vendors and customers.
