First Citizens Bank Names Gina Downing, Vice President in Equipment Finance

First Citizens Bank today announced that its Equipment Finance group has named Gina Downing as a vice president on its industrial team.

Gina will be responsible for supporting clients and growing the value of lending and leasing portfolio with a focus on construction, transportation, and materials handling equipment dealers across the Midwest region. She will report to the western regional manager of the Equipment Finance-Industrial team, JP DeStefano.

“Gina’s expansive career in the equipment finance industry combined with her ability to build strong relationships with dealers and develop tailored financing solutions will be instrumental in expanding our business.” DeStefano said. “We look forward to Gina’s leadership as we continue to deliver value to our clients and partners.”

With 33 years of experience in equipment finance, Gina brings a wealth of expertise and industry knowledge to the sectors she serves.

Her career began in 1993 with CIT Vendor Finance, as a regional sales manager for the Midwest. She later held various roles in sales and business development for Deutsche Leasing USA, Balboa Capital, Arvest Equipment Finance, and Huntington National Bank.
