Venturis Announces Leadership Transition: John Mutis Appointed as President and CEO
Langley, BC, Canada – January 24, 2025 – Venturis is proud to announce that effective March 1, 2025, John Mutis will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Having served as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2020, John Mutis has played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of Venturis. His leadership has been instrumental in establishing and implementing the company’s purpose, “Together, we LIFT our world and everything in It,” and advancing its strategic pillars of simplification, standardization, elevation, and unification.
Tom Leavitt, co-founder of Leavitt Machinery with his partners in 2001 and visionary leader behind the establishment of Venturis in 2015, will continue as Chair of the Board while dedicating more time to philanthropic endeavors. Tom expressed his confidence in the transition: “I am excited for John to step into the role of CEO, knowing his deep understanding of our company and its values will guide our organization to even greater success. His leadership will continue to empower our employees, strengthen our culture, and drive our purpose and strategic mission forward.”
