Spread the Word Nevada is dedicated to advancing childhood literacy within low-income communities by changing lives one book at a time. With the help of MHEDA Member, Southwest ToyotaLift, Spread the Word Nevada can now increase deliveries allowing more children in need to receive books.
“Southwest Toyotalift has been fantastic throughout this logistic process of moving the donated forklift from one of our local donors in Las Vegas, AGS. Jessica from Southwest Toyotalift has been highly professional and willing to accommodate all parties’ needs during the move. We had to push the delivery date because one of the donors had to quarantine due to COVID-19 at the last minute. Southwest Toyotalift was able to shift and made us feel like a priority.
Southwest Toyotalift ensured we had reliable and professional transportation of the forklift. They went above and beyond our expectations by having a forklift technician, Alex, inspect and provide routine maintenance after Southwest Toyotalift delivered the forklift to our warehouse. With this forklift Spread the Word Nevada will be able to evolve current operations reaching more children throughout Nevada. Currently, Spread the Word Nevada is providing books to all students at 64 identified needed schools on a monthly basis.
