About John Mackay

John Mackay is the founder of the Mackay Research Group, specializing in profitability analysis and executive education. Before this, he served as Vice President of the Profit Planning Group (PPG), where he led profitability surveys. In 2001, as PPG began working with manufacturer associations, Mackay recognized the need for a more tailored approach. This led him to establish a dedicated firm in 2003 to better serve manufacturers.
